So I tried to give Pat Nix another shot last night |

I'm sorry, I don't see how ANYBODY could want him for an OC. Miami only had 3 points for most of the game. The ended up scoring 24, but most of that
came when GT put in their subs. The last TD was totally meaningless with less than a minute left. When GT had their 1st teamers in the game, Miami CONSISTENTLY
went 3 and out. The play calling was simply horrible. I appreciate what Nix did for us when he was our QB, but I'd rather have an OC that's actually
worth a $hit. Just my opinion

Nix is a good guy, but no thanks. I like GT's offense though.

Why on earth would you do that?
Are they growing some good herb on the left coast, or what? |

I was wondering who was gonna bring this up today. | ||

Actually, from the Miami papers I've read, they don't even want him anymore.

aerotiger wrote:Feel the need to point out, he's playing a RS Fresh and True Fresh QB. That won't do much for an OC's impression. If you watched the game, his receivers are as bad as AU's (dropped balls, bad routes, not coming back to the ball). Their O is definetly a work in progress, as is PN as an OC. He grew up around football, was solid as college player, wouldn't be at Miami if he didn't have potential. It's having all of the right pieces in place to be successful. If he can recruit, he'll do fine. It's right time, right place, right opportunity. He may be on Auburn's staff at some point in the future, but now's not the time. I would bet that if you follow Pat's career, he's working more on experience to be considered well down the road as a candidate for HC. |
