How do you add that beating a dead horse thingy?

Any way it goes, I think Tubs is coming back. He always survives these things and ends up holding all the cards with the administration over a barrel. That being said, I don't see us going undefeated next year like we did in 2004. That was the anomaly, not the norm. I don't think Tubs is a bad coach, but I don't see any national championships with him at the helm, either. The dilemma we seem to be facing is whether can, or should, expect any better. Some think that AU fans should be content because we can't expect to compete with the Floridas, Georgias, and bammers of the world. Others think that AU is the greatest dream job a coach could ever hope for, and we should be dissatisfied if we don't go undefeated every year. I'm somewhere in the middle, but I do think that its possible that AU could be considered among the elites. I think we were considered among the elites in the late 80s.
