So what does Pizza Hut say if he had gotten his head blown off for doing his job? What other options did he have? He could refuse to give the robber the
money and be shot in the head. Give the robber the money and the robber gets away. Give the robber the money and he still gets shot in the head.

So, let me get this straight. We're now in favor of killing someone to defend 50 dollars or less? Is that really worth attempting to take someones life?
I realize we don't have all the info, but the article says the robber survived 3 gunshot wounds. Sounds to me like the victim tried his best to kill him; not simply defend himself or the company's precious money. Lest we forget, it is contrary to what I'm reasonably sure is written company policy forbidding the carrying of firearms by employees while on the job. And you can bet litigation will follow... by both parties.
