I still wish they wouldn't charge us to watch a spring game. What good does it really do?

People still have to get paid. Concessioniers, Security, Referees, Staff, Clean up, electricity, water, Printing for rosters and scorecards, etc. This helps
offset those expenses.
If 30,000 people came that's only 150,000 dollars. I'd be suprised if they broke even. Did you know it costs $125,000 to clean up campus after one football game? I'm sure this wasn't near as bad but it still has to be done. $5 is nothing in today's world. We have always had to pay for A-Day and I don't mind it. Don't be so critical. If you don't want to pay it all you have to do is stay home.

$5.00 X 30,000 fans = $150,000.00 for Auburn University. That is the best and cheapest entertainment ever. You can't even see a movie for $5.00 !!!!

All I know is TUF donations & ticket prices for 2008 have gone up yet again. But yet people attempting to buy tickets on the street want to pay $5 &
get irritated when you ask them for face plus the TUF donation.
imho I think it's cheap of AU to charge $5 for the spring game. Sort of like when you show up at a golf course & pay for 18 & then they nickel & dime you for a bucket of range balls. |

Yeah...and it wasn't even 30,000 people that paid. It was free to students, so cut down the 30,000 x $5.00. It isn't that rediculous...its $5

It didn't bother me paying $5 for the game. If nothing else it helps pay the utilities in the stadium. I had to get my football fix and $5 is a small price
to pay for that drug. The drug got expensive when I filled the car up with gas for the trip though.

Hell I'll pay 40 bucks for a great meal. I think $5 bucks for a chance to see our new offense is a bargain! I'd spend the 40 bucks for the game too.
