The odds released Sunday list Auburn running back Kamryn Pettway with 30-to-1 odds to win the most-coveted individual award in college football, which ties him for the 15th-best odds in the country.
Pettway is coming off a strong sophomore campaign in which he led the SEC with 122.4 rushing yards per game. He rushed for 150 yards or more in four straight games while finishing with 1,224 yards despite not carrying the ball in the season opener against Clemson and missing action late in the season.
The surprising name, perhaps, to see on the board is Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham, who is listed with 50/1 odds to win the Heisman Trophy. The Baylor transfer has yet to play for the Tigers, but soared in the A-Day scrimmage Saturday: 16 of 20 passing for 267 yards.
