now I know we have a long way to go...but since the 04 Undefeated season and watching us beat TN TWICE!! and then going to the Sugar Bowl and watching us
win a great game...and all for naught....brings me where I am now. Basically what we have now is awful...and I hate to say it....I am at the point if we
cannot play for the NC then I will just as well go to the Chic Fil A Bowl... it is inside, the stadium is clean, and it is close....cause bottom line it does
not matter.
Just looked at the ranked teams that played today and this farce they call rankings..... it should be an embarrassment to those that do the rankings.

The truth is that there are 5 teams that will be shuffled around year in and year out as your top 5..always the same 5 teams..just in different orders...This
is because of Donors and advertising revenue..specfically within the relationship between AP and ESPN (i.e. ABC/Disney/ACLU)
These teams no longer have to "earn" their way to the nat'l farce-ionship in January....they are place in the position to go in August... Unlike the other 120+ teams they do not have to win their way into the game..they simply must not lose their way out of it..if that makes sense. 3 of the 5 top 5 teams play each other year in and year out...thus taking care of "whittling it down" even more....again these 5 teams are placed in the Nat'l game in August...they just have to avoid losing enough times to drop themselves out of it. I can break it down further if need be... |
