dumba**.
As if there wasn't a lesson to be learned when Ears bumped his flappers before the Arky game...you gotta go and jaw like that to fire up a strong Heisman contender even more...
ESPN radio destroyed Tate and AU last night...I don't agree w their comments about our program (it is known they 'hate us') but I agree whole heartedly with their comments concerning both Tate and Ingram.
Ingram took the 'classy' high road and will probably destroy our D and Auburn will enable yet ANOTHER player/team to have a career day as we have so many times this year and last....all the while giving SPUAT's 'D have even MORE motivation to stop Tate.
I'm surprised there hasn't been anything said about this on here..and my apologies if there has been.
But Our boys need to know when to stop bumping their gums....
It is like when our D starts flappin after they make a tackle while missing the previous 5...or when the opposing qb throws an incompletion and our coverage celebrates..only to give up a 35 yard TD pass the next play.
I know those like 1983Grad have a crush on me and like to reference me when quoting naysayers...but I truly want the best for our program and absolutely REFUSE to settle in and be comfortable with 'mediocre'.... Where we've been sitting for quite a while.
Our boys aren't disciplined worth a sh*t on the field and it appears with current issues going on w/ some players they are quite flippant in their off the field comments as well.
Way to go Tate. Way to go.
I'd be impressed if you get 50 yards against SPUAT after that.
disclaimer: for those of you who do not know his comments...look em up.they were made before the UGA game and he may have been rethinking his words already...I'm sure many will defend him..but this was neither the season or the game to make claims like that....
