Exactly what I have been saying. If this was a Tubbs team, we would be stout on d and weak on o and everyone knows this. Granted, we would still have a game like the last one, but we wouldn't give up atleast 22 to EVERY TEAM WE PLAY! The people that should be punched in the nuts are the ones saying that we have no talent. This would include Roof. I personally cannot forgive our coaches that are using the no depth card every weekend. We have alot of players at Auburn. Great coaches take these players and make them belive they are the best. The WORST coaching move you could ever make, especially when dealing with 20 year old KIDS is leading them all to believe that they are no good and that the team will not improve without getting in some better players. When the coaches constantly say that we are "thin" or "lack depth", they are essentially telling every player on our team that they don't belong in college football and they will be replaced as soon as we can recruit someone better. It is no wonder ou defense plays with no confidence. I think Gus has the guys on the right track. Remember last year, we had NO offensive talent (really just misguided talent). The same goes for this year. Our d has plenty of playmakers, they are just being misled with constant votes of lack of confidence in their talent. Our players need support and guidance and to not be treated like red-headed step children (no offense to the red-headed step children out there)
