It seems to me that Jamal Patterson really wants to come to Auburn. After he struggled to catch the ball at the last camp, he's coming back for Saturday's. I assume he wants to prove he can hang on to the ball. If he does, I think our situation with him is really promising. |

Hopefully our coaches will give him a second chance. I hope Jamal does a better job this time around.

by far the worst parts are the lack of coverage, the most pathetic excuse for highschool football ive ever seen, and the ducks uniforms, and how EVERYONE loves
them. i tell them all the time that the nation is laughing at them. but no they have their 2k uniform combonations that the players set, and its the coolest
thing ever. and yea!!! we have 5 2 stars from this state....look at us and our pac10 fuutball here in the great northwest

According to AU insiders we lead for Travis, Orr, and Farms. According to bama insiders Travis and Orr are no longer high on Saban's board and Farms is an
academic casualty. All 3 have tried to commit to bama but were turned down hence why they now like AU.

mabwriter wrote: Wrong Travis did not try and commit to bama, he has been holding off and Auburn has always been right up there and have expected us to sign him. Orr favored bama no doubt, but the kid has been one of the more overrated prospects in this state. Dont see him helping either team that much anyway. Orr & Travis are still high up their board. They have dropped Farms down a couple notches from what i've seen in the last week. Their loss as the kid is going to be a player at the guard position in D-1. Reading too many rumors on rivals has obviously affected your judgement with info in your posts.

It seems that AU is in the thick of it for both Darren Myles and Brandon Smith, but it seems our class is starting to fill up. With the outstanding offer we have to Alvin Hines, would we take he and Myles (if Myles were to commit?). How many spots do we have left for safeties? I know we have a mathematical chance at Smith, but how realistic is... do the coaches feel like we have a great shot at him? Where does Motta fit in to this? Sorry about all the rapid fire questions, I'm just interested in seeing how the DB class fills out this year. What positions would you say we are trying to fill as of now? Thanks in advance.

TM I am making no judgments. Just thought the two perspectives from both sides would be found interesting. But would you clarify if rumors are true Tana has
been bought? Seemed 2 weeks ago people were saying we were in it.

AU Matt wrote: Hines will be an AU kid sometime. I need to follow up on his offer to make sure its 100% commitable, I believe it still is. As for Branden & Darren we have a great chance with both, id say Branden we have a better chance with at this time. If Hines were to commit we would take Myles for sure still, still expect to sign 2 at least...likely 3. Id say we have a 30-40% chance with Branden, same goes for Myles. Motta and Hines will be a first come first serve. Don't see us signing 4 more db's so there ya go. We are trying to knock out the OL and DL. Throw in trying to finish off the WR, LB and DB's. I was never real confident in our position for the past couple months, ive heard some interesting things but no exact proof if he has been
"bought". I had him going to UGA or bama with a slight chance of us getting in there depending on the season. Id give us about 25% at this point.

Who bought Tana? I'm pretty sure we were never really in his top 2 or 3.

Anyone have info on Euclid Cummings? Rivals said he stood out the most last camp. He goes to my old high school, and AFAIK he is probably the best player to
come out of there.

Two Rivals 100 members have visited the last two days. Jheranie Boyd will be back for an unofficial for the LSU game. No word on if he will also take an
official. David Wilson will make a decision before the season and it sounds as if AU leads. He is the number 4 Athlete and ranked number 2 as a homerun threat.
