Will we not see the actual spread until Miss. St./LSU? |

We all know Tubs likes to keep the game simple against smaller teams. Any chance we'll use mostly old-style formations such as the I for ULM and Southern
Miss. and not get to see it until Miss. St. and/or LSU?

I doubt it because we will need those games to get the offense working... | ||

May not see the most aggressive defensive attack i.e Blitz packages and stuff.

I agree with Hubbs on this one. I think we will open it up to tune up against the smaller guys to make sure we get all the kinks worked out. Defense will more
than likely be vanilla.

Though we might hold back a little, I think we will signs of how the spread works in our first two games. We have get any of the bugs ironed out before we jump
into SEC play. We had a small taste of the spread in the Peach and we'll see a lot more in the first two games.

I can damn near guarantee there will be plenty of stuff that CTF will save especially for LSU. Not saying that he'll scale down the playbook, but more
along the lines of adding more nuances or special packages against the corndogs.

War Eagle VI (Tiger) is a golden eagle whose lineage is traced back to the Civil War. Legend has it that an Auburn student was wounded serving under Robert E. Lee in the Battle of the Wilderness. After losing consciousness, the soldier awoke seeing only two living things left on the battlefield -- himself and a baby eagle. Twenty-eight years later, the soldier was a member of the Auburn faculty at the Georgia-Auburn game in 1892. When Auburn scored first, his eagle, now an old adult, broke free and began flying above the stadium. The crowd was said to have cried, "War Eagle |

i agree with hubb.the offense will be full throttle.you seem to forget king you have two qbs that want the starting job.tony is going to see what he has the
first two games.and when one comes out the other will be trieng to prove they want the starting job.i look for more holding back against the sec teams because
you got to run in the sec.

Because of the caliber of early opponents, I would expect that AU will be installing and getting heavy reps in practice for all the sets that they plan to
use once SEC play begins. Basic packages on offense and defense should be enough to get the early wins, tune things up and keep enough of the playbook under
wraps until the big games.
Just my two cents and a hunch on something that I may not know anything about ...
Compromise, hell! That's what has happened to us all down the line - and that's the very cause of our woes. If freedom is
right and tyranny is wrong, why should those who believe in freedom treat it as if it were a roll of bologna to be bartered a slice at a time?" -
