Look at Iraq - if it wasn't for the terrorist trying to drive us from the country, we would have finished rebuilding and left by now. It's the same here. We need to focus on encouraging and informing each other about what is going on with our Tigers, not getting caught up with what's happening on the other team.
Finally, I want to explode one myth that has been perpetrated by Silver and other bammers: In the great days of the Alabama program, the Bama teams were not made up of 4 & 5 star candidates (if there were such things), but instead, Bear mostly chose players with drive, spirit, good work ethic, and who fit into his system. This is not to say that there weren't some great players, but look how few actually went into the Pro's during all those National Championships. Instead, he generally won with smaller, faster players who played as a TEAM, and he out coached his oponents. I'm sure that some will see the similarity to CTT's teams, while others will want to hang me for even using the two names in the same thought. The truth is that there is a strong similarity, which is a good reason for us to ignore all the jabs about their recruiting classes and focus on what/who fits our program. ND, USC, OSU, TX, OK, Nabraska all used to beat Bama in recruiting, but could seldom beat Bama on the field. WDE!!
