Do you guys agree that Furr will maybe be moved to WR ???? I think will his talents we cant have him sitting the bench waiting to QB ......I personally think
he is not going to have a chance to take the #1 spot. .......and i agree Trotter will play QB maybe its with us or someone else.

I hope Furr stays at QB | ||

I don't want anymore statues at QB, and Furr has enormous potential. Trotter could carry a clipboard, and earn a degree, much like Caudle.

Furr needs to be playing linebacker or WR. I've seen him play in person several times.

Kodi's senior year the depth chart will be Kodi, Furr, and Cotton third. Unless we sign an absolute stud at QB to surpass them. My opinion is Trotter is a
short field option on 4th down. Put him in 4th and 2 on the 45 and have him throw, run, or punt.

Heck work up a package on defense with Furr playing the Monster position... | ||

Still cant get that hit out of my mind even though it was a blindsided hit.

Is Furr really able to make an immediate impact at WR or linebacker? Neither of those two positions have what you would call depth issues. So unless you are certain he could have immediate star impact, it may be best to develop him as a QB. Not only that, its what our coaches told him we would do when he signed on. |

If Furr can learn to control his arm he will be an awesome QB. Think Vince Young

As far as WR, Furr is a QB as of now and should know the routes of every WR, so learning those routes shouldn't be an issue. There could be times when footwork and route running would be an issue, but the guy is an athlete. Just throw him the ball and see what happens. But I'm not the coach and I will support whatever Tubberville decides to do with him. They may see more potential for him at QB, but I know for a fact that other schools were recruiting Furr as an athlete and not a QB, so that's why I'm skeptical. I personally love Raymond Cotton and want to see him in the game as much as possible. I could see him red-shirting this year, which bumps Burns, Todd, and Caudle up a year a gives Cotton atleast 2 full years as the starting QB if he performs like we all hope he does. He already has the body of a pro-QB and the young man is only 18. Not to mention he can throw the ball farther than anyone I've seen in a long time. Tons of potential there.

Furr is big enough to play linebacker now.
