EAGLE FOOTNOTES: On Auburn's top 10 player list as selected by CFN, there are only three seniors. There are four juniors and three sophomores. Of the juniors, early projections have Sen'Derrick Marks as a possible high first-round draft pick in 2009. If he has an outstanding season, there's no reason to believe he would not jump to the NFL if he would be a first-rounder. Depending on what kind of season he has, Antonio Coleman might also test the draft waters. But he might need another year on the Plains to get bigger and stronger. Another candidate to forgo his senior year is LB Tray Blackmon. The only problem for Blackmon is, even though he has loads of talent, he has yet to play an entire season because of suspensions and/or injury. And at 6-0, 220, is he big enough to play linebacker in the NFL or fast enough to play safety?

if Blackmon has an injury and suspension
free year, he will be in the NFL draft next April.
