Theft UPDATE
The damage and stolen items for the park came to a total of $2300, missing their insurance deductable by $200, But the new door and monitored security system should actually lower their premiums I would think. So they just got a really expensive lesson in why you should really have proper security if you have a business.
As for me, my loses in stolen property came to about $2500, plus the damage to my trailer. I filed on my homeowner's insurance and got a check from them yesterday for the full amount ($2030) minus my $500 deductable. I had comprehensive coverage on my trailer so I turned in one estimate of repair for $804 and have a check on the way for the full amount as I had ZERO deductable on my auto policies.
I found a place in Opelika that sells the sheet metal to fix my trailer so I'm buying the sheet metal and a luan subpanel and fixing the trailer myself for about $100. So all in all, I'll have about $2600 from the deal. Time to go shopping at Pro Sound & Stage Lighting.
