I have a standard iPod and use it when cruising on the Harley. The problem (if there is such a thing) is the pipes are a little too loud. And the overall sound

Has anyone used this or any similar product? If so, what are your recommendations?
I'm presently using these: http://www.shure.com/PersonalAudio/Products/Earphones/SEModels/us_pa_SE210_content and have the ear molds to further isolate external sounds which can be dangerous on a bike. I was thinking of upgrading to the SE420, but thought I'd see how a headphone amp works before spending the extra money.
