So I'm assuming he'll be redshirting in Mississippi this year and not at AU, correct? He won't be on campus for the 08-09 year will he?

Yes he will redshirt 2008 season.. then he'll be at Auburn for the 2009 season.

Also if I'm not mistaken I believe there is discussion EF is attempting to graduate from juco in fall semester so he can enroll at AU for spring semester & spring practice. And this may very well be the main reason he is redshirting(spring enrollment). I suppose if a AU juco placed guy wasn't going to graduate until after the full 2nd year of juco the coaches would want them to play football that year. On a side note, the 2009 draft class is loaded with LB prospects so unless TB has an off the hook, FULL, injury free season I doubt he would leave early. Just my 2 cents. Not when he could return for 09 & play himself into the first couple of rounds. |

Fairley redshirted last year and will play this year. So he will have 3 to play 3.

When Blackmon heads off to the NFL (which may very well in the next year's draft; I don't think he will hang around for a senior year if he has an
injury and suspension free season), I thought Josh Bynes was the next Mike Linebacker?
Seems Bynes had a GREAT spring. |
