On defense Arkansas is looking to get better. Ramon Broadway led the white defense in the Hog scrimmage with 14
tackles and hopes to find his name higher up on the depth chart come September. Willy Robinson has his hands full this fall tring to whip this depleated corp
into shape. Look for RS-FR Jake Bequette to emerge as good bullrushing end that may give opposing offenses trouble come September. Arkansas will find it hard
to stop the pass if they dont get a better pass rush. Their corners are suspect in 1 on 1 coverage as shown by Casey Dicks 404 yards. Below is how the Arkansas
defense may look in 2008:

Hubbs Breakdown
The Arkansas Razorbacks will be a team in transition this season. With the addition of new schemes on both sides of the ball and the losses on both sides of the ball its hard to find many games that Arkansas should win. Petrino is good for 1 win he shouldn't get with his scheme and cordination. Defense is what keeps Arkansas home this holiday season. I just don't see a SEC contender this season when I look at Arkansas. One thing the program has going for it is all the transition and scheme changes have come at the same time giving Arkansas a step up when highly touted transfer Ryan Mallet is eligible in 2009.
