no big surprise at all... the local hack radio station (WNSP) has been verbally masturbating him as the next great bama phenom for 2 years now. of course, the
last player they applied the verbal masturbation to was wallace gillberry, as they assured he would be the only state player drafted. they even had his daily
draft diaries... guess the last few pages were blank. however, congrats to mccarron for overcoming what he has... that is a testament to his personality and
work ethic.

Talk is cheap in the grassy knoll area of the world, the gun is just being loaded. Not just for a year, but for down the road. You guys have another year of
having more experienced players, we are patient. We see the big picture.

Quarterback is the most difficult position to predict future success for, as far as recruiting goes. It is also my least favorite position for Auburn to go
after big names. I love it when Bama gets a big name QB, we usually have great years while their phenom is at the capstone. The best QB they've had in the
last 25 years IMHO, was Jay Barker, an option QB from Trussville. Auburn's future depends on linemen, db's, lb's, wr's, and above all RB's,
as always. Spread or no spread, that is an undeniable truth.
