If anyone cares...I am officially being retired from the USAF on 03 Jun...i'll be back in Bama around the 16th of May FOR GOOD! Just got the official
orders today; I'm so damn fired up to be coming back home...

I didn't know you were in the AF. So you're coming home huh, where are you stationed? I was at Elmendorf when I separated; the wife and I made the last
PCS a vacation. We drove from Alaska to Birmingham by way of 5 Canadian provinces and then we went up into Maine then hit all the New England states to North
Carolina and then to Alabama. We didn't give ourselves any kind of time line but it ended up taking us a month to the day to get down here. We could have
done it in a week but that wouldn't have been nearly as much fun. Anyway, I hope you get to enjoy yourself on your way back.
Where in Alabama are you planning to move? Got a job lined up? Thanks for your service! |

Retirement is a great thing, too. I only stayed in the Air Force 12 years. Got out back in 93. Where were you stationed?
I spent my time at Eglin, FL McClellan CA and Nimitz Hill Guam. |
