For all you Republicans (most AU fans, but not me...), we learned in Technology and Civilization class just the other week that Al Gore never claimed to invent
the internet. It is true that he was one of the original conceptualists for the internet, but he has never made such claim. That's what our teacher
(who's a Republican) said.
The video is amazing though...no need to bring politics into it. Republicans (really actually GWB and his advisors) have already messed up enough of the world for the last 8 years. Go Obama! I'd be fine with McCain, but Obama would be the best...Clinton is my last choice |

my post was in no way intended to be political. read through some of my posts... i'd say 99% of them are geared at satire and comedy (depending on
one's definition of such). when it comes to politics, i am neither republican nor democrat as i see them both as both different representations of evil
(ie... rich people).

Alright cool...y'all know im new on here, so Im still figuring out what different users talk about. Ive figured out that TM23 is know it all (not in the
bad way), TOW is double poster, Tider4ever is a smarter Bama fan, Silvercharged is a very misinformed (I don't want to call them dumb) Bama fan, and
Horneylep is my boy and we agree on most stuff and back each other up. Other than that, Im still getting the feel, so if I don't understand where a person
is coming from in a post...just call me out like that.

PT... i made the gore/internet statement as a joke in reply to the video, not to make a political commentary. therefore, it was within the bounds of the
thread. my reply was in explanation only and not as part of furthering any political agenda or starting any off topic discussion.
i thought the video was great and representative of the good that can be done with the wonderful thing that is the world wide web. what i posted was the first thing that poped into my head so i typed it (i know... that can be deadly). sorry if my sense of humor was misinterpreted or deemed inappropriate.

I saw nothing to get upset over, there are plenty of videos out there to spin things the other way. As far as myself being misinformed, nah. A few on here
have figured out that I post to watch a select few spit venom on their keyboard. Too many have yet to figure out that I am just about beer and popcorn.
