Well... | ||

he had a bad case of the drops for a few years. Also, since we've had running back injuries/conflicts of schedule & a pass heavy, detail oriented
practice regime, our receivers have gotten a lot better at catching the ball.
I hope he continues to have sure hands & has a break-out year for the Tigers. |

War Eagle VI (Tiger) is a golden eagle whose lineage is traced back to the Civil War. Legend has it that an Auburn student was wounded serving under Robert E. Lee in the Battle of the Wilderness. After losing consciousness, the soldier awoke seeing only two living things left on the battlefield -- himself and a baby eagle. Twenty-eight years later, the soldier was a member of the Auburn faculty at the Georgia-Auburn game in 1892. When Auburn scored first, his eagle, now an old adult, broke free and began flying above the stadium. The crowd was said to have cried, "War Eagle |

Swinton & Knox | ||
|
I think someone on this board posted about how when Swinton (and other receivers?) would drop balls that Coach Knox made him run & get a leaf from the
woods by the intermural fields. It happened so often that Knox began referring to them as the Swinton National Forest or something to that effect.

James Swinton is so fast, the ball in his hands literally cannot keep up.
True.

speed | ||

Yeah, his speed has always been there. I'm hoping he's turned the corner. Can you imagine what it would be like with him AND Dunn bringing their
A-game. If he can keep catching the ball consistently & gets the offense down to a reactionary understanding, man we'll have some highlights next
season.
Dunn is the receiver I'm most excited to see. He always seemed on the verge of breaking out. I just hope he keeps his act together for the next year. |

that to happen.
