I agree with gfed we will beat georgia once but probably not twice but I think it will be in the regular season that will suck.

I agree that UGA fans are the worst fans in the SEC and they sicken me more than Alabama fans. They're classless idiots and I hope they lose every game by
400. But I believe we will win November 15th and I think Florida will be representing the east. UF lost 3 people and are basically bringing back their entire
team. UGA's line is young, very young. All sophomores and a couple freshman (we've all lived through the pain a young o-line can bring sometimes).
No matter how good Moreno and Stafford might be, its hard to run and throw without protection. They're d-line and secondary will be solid but they'll
be weak in the middle. Inexperienced LB's will hurt them in run defense and Franklins' quick-threat spread offense should confuse and tire them. When
we play them I see us running the ball straight up the gut with quick-slants in the middle and 5-10 yrd out-routes galor. IF we can stop the deep ball
we'll win. And if we lose to them this year, that makes 3 in a row and we're half way to being the b*tch that Bama is to us. Regardless of what Tubbs
said about the mauling they put on us last year, its a very big game.

At this point the only thing one can realistically predict about the au-uga game is it will once again be a huge rivalry as always. The result will have an
impact on the sec race & most likely shape the national title race in some way.
Otherwise it's premature at this point to discuss schemes or secondaries, lb's, qb's, etc. This game is 3/4's of the way into the season & both teams will look alot different between now & then. Injuries, bad breaks, fatigue, player development/regression, coaching development/regression, and all the other stuff that shape the season as it goes along will have taken place. Our O may be a well oiled machine by then or we could struggle to embrace the new system all season long. Same goes for the D. One reason imho everyone loves this game is by this time in the season both teams are usually clicking on all cylinders. Right now our 2 biggest advantages for the uga game are 1) home field & 2) prior 3 weeks schedule(ours is easy, uga's is difficult-they should be beat-up). |
