What I'm saying is that this guy shouldn't have had a gun with him. Does he have the right to carry a firearm, sure. Does he have the right to use it, sure. Just not when he is delivering pizza.
Did he have a gun pointed at his head, yes. Was it a last resort, probably. I'm not saying the he shouldn't have defended with deadly force, and I'm not saying he should be prosecuted for it. I'm not saying that he should have waited to see if the robber was going to fire first, and to be quite honest in this case he did what he thought was right. Should he have had a gun to begin with, NO.
Brinks drivers are armed and drive armored vehicles. Do you worry that innocent people will get shot every time they pull up to a bank and deliver money?
This guy works at pizza hut, he doesn't deal with millions of dollars every day. I'm pretty sure that the brinks drivers go through a lot of training, and are told to only use deadly force as a last resort. Is there an opportunity for innocent people to get hurt yes, but when properly trained the chances (I assume) of this happening go down.
My God, you people are so sensitive when it comes to a difference of opinion! Please continue to rant on and try to make me feel stupid because I have a different opinion.
