Great american is right and he will be sorely missed and it will be interesting to see who becomes the new voice of the NRA. He was in some great movies though
and played a lot of larger than life figures Moses, Gordon, but also did a lot of science fiction.

I need to see El Cid. I have not seen Anthony and Cleopatra in 20 years (1988 in English class we watched it). Also, the Michaelangelo movie and the 3 Musketeers movie I need to see. He played Richambleu (if that is how you spell it). He also played a VERY good part as Andrew Jackson in a movie about the Battle of New Orleans. Not a single actor today can even come close to what Charlton Heston accomplished, political or via his trade. RIP, Chuck!! Have a Bud Lite!!!

Bren El Cid is a classic and I have some Taiwanese version but they have just remastered it in the States so you should be able to get a good version when you
get back here. I bet even Netflix will have it and it used to be hard to find. It is one of my favorite Heston movies and the type movie they dont make
anymore. Heston was probably in more epic films than any other actor The Ten Commandments, BEn Hur, and El Cid all qualify in my book.

The Planet of the Apes series has been running on AMC all week. Watched (Tivo'ed) them all! Great actor!
