While I realize DLT purposely exaggerated the "other 99% of the board population who are sick and tired..." number to make a point, I do believe a few board members are displeased with the political discussions taking place here. So where are all these people? Here, it seems, is the perfect opportunity for them to express their views and concerns pertaining to a subject (political
postings) that evidently causes them great consternation. Yet, they remain silent. Why is that? Would it not further their cause to have their points of view
considered and discussed openly between the dismayed and those they wish to banish?

Because we don't like the personal attacks when we do voice our opinion. If you think that contrary opinions are actually rationally considered, then I compliment you on your optimism. All I see are blanket dismissals of any attempt at discourse.

Think that civil discourse occurs here most of the time. Except for the Grad "big noggin" threads, and the red neck republican hormonal teenage cat
threads, we coexist in perfect harmony. Kinda like the coke commercials. I rarely see personal attacks, and in political discussions that is almost unheard of,
however, it is bound to happen with this many people who feel as strongly as they do. I gave my opinion of the type of topics I would like to see get more
coverage, boobies, milfs, coeds, maybe even a weekly porn thread, just to shake things up a bit. This is America, we should enjoy all there is to
offer.
