Said if the season started today we would have a 2 qb system. Said that will probably be the case in the fall. That would give opposing defenses problems.
Negatives were Todd needs to get better at zone reads. That led from first and one to fourth and twenty two. And Burns needs to improve his throwing that a day
was the best he has done. Burns improves that he may be the guy. Gave no indication of Todd being the main guy. Also was mostly pleased with Caudle and
understood he did not play with the same talented players as the others did.

I think we'll end up seeing us use a 2 qb system the whole year. It will be kinda what uf did with Leak and Tebow 2 years ago.

one of the main things the HC of Oregon told CTT about the spread offense is to have more than 1 qb who can play in it. A 2 qb system would be great because
you would have atleast 2 qbs who know what they're doing. If one goes down the other won't be coming cold off the bench.
CTF stated before that all qbs will be required to run the zone read, option plays, and qb draws so they're gonna get hit.

How good is Caudle at running? isn't he a pretty good passer? It wouldn't shock me to see us use Neil. at times during the season. I look for Furr and
Trotter to redshirt. How about you guys?

Here's my take. I think the 2 qb system is the way we should go. One being we'll keep this fierce competition going right on into the season and the other it will keep both quarterbacks fresh. After A Day, I'm convinced that Kodi is better, but as the same time, Todd though started off slow looked good as well. Burns looked great at A-Day and has dramtically improved as a passer but he just has to become more consistent. "Chris is at 76 percent completions for the spring and the other two are at 57 and 58," Franklin said. "That's a huge difference. Even with a bad arm, he's still better at certain things." I like the combination of Todd being a veteran and Kodi having the running ability that he has. Besides if one of them cant handle it or the one just seems to be the guy CTF has pointed there will be only one qb and the other on the bench. "They will handle it, because if they don't, whoever doesn't handle it will be on the bench." There's one thing for sure, there are a lot of coaches across the nation who would like to have the problem that CTF faces. What people easily forget is that we are set on OLine for years to come. Not to mention were deep at the runningback position. Don't forget about how far the 06 Gators and there 2 QB system got them.

a couple only to be 'tapped out'
Which bring me to my next point. Caudle scrambled a couple of times for some good yardage (i don't have the stats, but one was for at least 15). That long one was an impressive run. As far as the pick, it was a little behind the receiver and a great play by the defender. True, it was an interception. Caudle is positioning himself to step in if either of the others falters....

It will be a two QB situation. I think Franklin knows It's tougher for teams to prepare for two QB's. I think this is ideal because of the risk of
injury. The 3rd and 4th stringers better be ready to go as well. This will build depth and experience for the following seasons. Then we can reload instead of
rebuild. That would be my thinking as a coach.

60 minutes of fast pace all out offensive football. This will take he pressure off our defensive where they
can pin their ears back and rake havoc on offenses. If we build substantial leads, don't let up. Let our 2nd and 3rd teams play attack football as well.
Unload the bench on them baby!!! lol
