So I'm making my appointed rounds around the park this morning around 6;30, when I roll by this home and see 2 guys trying to get in the back door. I
stopped and called out to them and they in turn, bolted for the dam at the pond. I quickly drove to the other side of the lake and was there in time to meet
them as they were running across the dam. I jumped out of the truck, one dodged me, then the other one tried to make it, but alas, Mr. Tire Thumper met him on
his left knee and he went down like an UGA road ho on dollar night whereupon he suffered a wide array of cuts, contusions and brusies....
When the police showed up (about half an hour later) there were some questions as to the origins of the one guys' injuries, but there was no solid story as to how he wound up with a fractured lower leg. After some posturing from the local constabularies, DJ was released without further incident.
Something tells me he won't be breaking into any homes again in the near future anyway. Thus, my new name.....Batman...
