Tiger Recruit Posts: 50 (03/19/08 15:30:28) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None ESPN just showed the outcome of the players who have been labeled the #1 QB prospect over the last 5 years, all busts, not even mediocre, minus Stafford having a breakout year this past season. It didn't take this for me to think Pryor was overrated, but it made me curious to hear some of the opinions out there? My major knock is he is from Class AA Pennsylvania, how competitive is that? I thought the stats sounded impressive until I saw film and the kid was shaking a bunch of 5'6" 140lb. linebackers...as a scrawny white guy I feel comfortable saying what he's done against a bunch of us scrawnys means little to zip when compared to the athleticism of D-1 defenses. And the real bottom line, well...he's just going to be the next OSU QB to be made someone in the SEC's b*tch!! WDE!

He knows that he is more an athlete than a polished QB at this point. At Michigan, he would have been asked to be "The Savior" since they loss Chad Henne, Michael Hart and Mario Manningham and he knew he wasn't ready for that. Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	He's a great athlete, he'll have to develop to be a great college quarterback though. Tressell is a good coach though, he'll probably do pretty well up at tOSU if he can keep his head on straight.

His style of play best fits a spread offense not OSU's but the kid wants to go where he can win now. Maybe he isn't up to the challenge of making a UM or PSU better so he chose to ride the easy street train stationed in Columbus. What's with the tOSU? That's the type crap we would expect from an ohio native? What's next, we gonna see tUA in all media print? The folks up at OSU have a complex about being "the" state university. Kinda reminds me of the University of Miami referring to it's self as "the U" or the University of Oklahoma calling it's self OU? Something wrong with the thinking at all those schools.

I've just always called tOSU. One of my good friends is a big Ohio State fan. I guess it's just out of habit. I don't think we'll see tUA anywhere, I think it'll probably just stay UA. I don't think there is necessarily wrong with the thinking, it's just the way the schools have always been, it's a tradition (as much as some people seem to hate tradition.) Plus, I just wrote that probably because I'm to late to type Ohio State.
