RE: Who is AJ? | ||

AJ McCarron from Mobile a QB.
Could this Andrew Fields from West Virginia be someone that Paul Rhoads had his eye on while at Pitt? Also, seems there were 3 recruits from Texas on Junior day that could be added to the list. |

i know it is far-fetched (why dont we ever use the term close-fetched?) like most everything i post, but i would love to see AJ sign with us for no other
reason than it would send the bammernecks here in mobile into a level of pissed off not charted. listening to radio and reading papers, they had this kid
wearing crimson since about 4th grade. one host even laughed out loud at a caller who simply asked if we had a chance or if he was going to visit campus. it
is getting more blatently pro-bama in mobile by the second. and dont get me started on what they are saying about dre kilpatrick... they have him inked with
the tide as well.

I know that we have talked about this before - Mobile's transformation has been unreal the past several months. The Coleman kid committing was big for
us. We honestly HAD to get him. As for AJ - living in Mobile you and I both know that if he signs with anyone other than Alabama I will be floored. Same deal
as Julio last year. St Pauls is a pipeline to UAT right now as is Foley. I already posted about Dre. Until he commits somewhere I will consider him a UAT lean,
especially after what the coaches went through with Harris last year. He may "shock the world" but I am not going to hold my breath.

i would hope we have a good shot at furr, but logic seems to go out the window sometimes (hope that happens with dre). i think qb wise that aj is a need at
all. we are going to be attracting much bigger fish soon enough (of course, if we get him great, he is definately a talent... with a very good head on his
shoulders). i hope the other shoe falls at fsu sooner than later as it will help us with recruits. it seems we are always in the running with them for
somebody... and they usually win out on name alone.

GAtiger23 wrote:I went to Lassiter last year and am friends with him. He's so athletic he can play multiple positions DE, LB, WR, TE and also plays starts for the basketball as well. Im so glad we offered him a scholarship and really hope he comes here. He was here for junior day last sunday. I'll let you guys know if i can find out anything more. I'll be sure be sure to give him the good word about the plains. |

We certainly look forward to your good info and of course any guidance you can give him in making a good college selection.
