The point about national championships is that bama fans cannot truthfully claim 12 and in the same breath say we only have one and that it is highly questionable since it was split with Ohio State because we were on probation. What works for one has to work for both. By the standard that many bama fans use they can claim national championships and so can we.

My opinion is that until there is an actual playoff there is not really a national championship in football. Until there is a playoff all championships, yours and ours are "mythical so-called national championships."

Both programs have great tradition. I acknowledge it for bama. tider43ever seems to acknowledge it for us. We should all recognize that both programs have a great tradition.
