From Mobile, AL. My dad when to Mississippi State, so I was fairly uncommitted in the AU-UA debate, maybe a slight AU lean, until I decided to go to AU... And I have bled Orange and Blue ever since. I am 33 Years Old. Married with a son and one on the way. I went to Auburn 1992 - 1995. I was there for Pat Dye's last season, our undefeated 11-0 season and the ensuing run of 9 wins afterward. It wa a beautiful time. This message board is really remarkable in my opinion. There are a tons of great participants and some very insightful information / conversations... not to mention some serious humor. Here's looking to a strong finish in the Georgia Dome New Years Eve and a great buikd up to next season. WDE, Everyone.

Was raised in Parrish, AL. I joined the Army Reserves at 17 and the Navy 2 years later. I spent 2 years total under water, but that doesnt b-b-b-bother me now. I now live near Bristol Motor Speedway. I am the only AU fan in my family, so as punnishment to my brother, we went to our first Iron Bowl this year. For four hours in MY car he heard, "It's great to be an Auburn Tiger!!"

My family was mostly bammers but in Dye's first year I was 7 and had just moved here from Houston. When forced to choose my allegiances prior to the game I looked at Dye and looked at the Bear. Even a small boy could see that the Bear's days were over. Funny how most bammers still haven't figured that out. We lost the game but AU won my heart. Anway, I have been checking this site out for years on and off and just revisited it about 4 months ago. I laughed at people claiming addiction to this board but I am now guilty myself. I have a wife and 2 daughters. I coached football at high school level for 5 years and loved being involved with the kids but I finally had to move on to another career for more income. My life revolves around AU football. Other than that I love to work out, camp, and fish.

Born with an orange and blue spoon in my mouth, I've been drinking that same colored Kool-Aid since. I'm divorced, retired and live in Hoover with my dog and two cats.

High school principle's 2 kids went to Auburn and pulled me aside to tell me I would love it. Parents couldn't afford to pay out of state until we figure out how to get in state and that it would more than pay once I got it versus being a Gator. I ripped up the housing check we had just put in the mailbox for me to go to UF and I've bled burnt orange and navy ever since. Even my bro followed me to Auburn 2 years later. After the best 6 years of my life (with a bachelors) I entered the real world. Too much partying, major change, and co-oping led to the 6 years and I wouldn't change it for the world. I met my beautiful Auburn wife my very last quarter in Appreciation of Music (her Junior year) and graduated in '98. Interesting fact: #1. I was arrested in Auburn on the steps of a dorm on the Hill in '95 for Public Intoxication after I had passed out trying to get a ride at 2am on a Thursday morning. The locked doors meant to keep drunk boys out of the girls dorm prevented me from getting to the phone on the desk to get a ride. After that point I kicked butt in my Mech. Eng. major and learned a little responsibility. #2. I will pay my last student loan off this year!! As with any other true Auburn person, I will be retiring at some point to Auburn and would love to move their before then. If I can just figure out that business...

I am the guy the neighbors fear may be beating his wife on saturdays by my extreme cursing and kicking of any thing I can find (thats on the good plays ) I am a ATS tech for a Durable Medical Supply company and I also own my own small business in Asphalt repair. We are fixin to buy a house in Feburary and are getting ready to have kids but like Coach Smith said in High School "Practice makes perfect" so I guess we will practice a whole whole lot and see how perfect the baby is. After all practice makes perfect

First football game I remember watching was the '82 Bo over the top! My dad went nuts! Had never seen him that happy before. Became an Auburn fan for life that day. Graduating from Troy this summer in Geomatics. Not sure where I will be taking job...Atlanta, Birmingham, or Jacksonville FL are top choices. Would have gone to Auburn but they didn't offer my degree...oh well, still bleed orange and blue!

Tiger Recruit Posts: 50 (02/12/08 19:25:18) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	22 y/o single male born in salt lake city. dad's job moved us to auburn at 9, been a tiger ever since! probably sold a few of ya'll game programs out of my wheel barrow 10-12 years ago (hey...we got in free after the half)!! nothing from my childhood is more vivid than saturdays to the sounds of 85k strong. it was magical for a kid, listen to the game on the radio and hear the crowd react before jim fyfe and the radio's 7-second delay could tell you what (a lot of those days you didn't really want to know what, lol). stayed a few years in auburn then did the rest my growing up across the border in columbus, ga. played top-notch baseball for bobby howard at columbus high then gave it up over injuries in juco. most memorable AU game attended of many, '01 against UF...damon made the kick and instantly the skies opened!! im currently in SLC again, snowboarding for a winter then moving to FL in may...i'm also an atlanta braves and utah jazz fan. def want to say the board and members are great...some of the best things in life really are free!!
