Here's a simple Capitalist story

Students at a small university argued that only capitalism worked so a teacher tried a little experiment. He gave everyone a paper to write on genetic mutations throughout nature. Students frantically looked through their biology 101 texts and found very little information. They decided to go online but realized quickly that'd be cheating because using the net encouraged socialism because what is the net but a collective effort of resourcing shared sources. So another kid had a bright idea. He decided to go to the library. Unfortunately he couldn't do that either because the library shared resources as well at absolutely no cost. Pure socialism again. The rich kids in the class frantically called daddy and checks soon arrived. They went to the book store and bought all the sources they needed. The poor kids, Realizing that he couldn't afford to buy all the source material that they needed to write their papers turned to God and came to the conclusion that their were no random genetic mutations in nature. They occurred in accordance to God's will. Those with money made an A. Those without made F's (they were however encouraged to continue going to church, obey God's will for them, and get a job at McDonalds)

Of course not Vet. Of course not. What part of it does not ring true for you?

The part that Libraries are based upon collective lending, or the part that the internet is a shared source of material?

Truthfully, Socialism is flawed. Truthfully, Capitalism is flawed. And that is why the United States is neither a Capitalist or a Socialist country. We are a country that utilizes traits of both institution. Always have.

The collective lending of the library does not take away from one to give to another
