Whoever has the leadership, determination, and football ability...beyond that it doesn't matter to me who starts.

I root for 4 teams. 1) Auburn 2) Ohio State 3) Whoever is playing Bama 4) Whoever is playing Michigan |

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm starting to get my head and heart around a two-QB system.

from the sounds of it, burns and todd both have the characteristics and personality to make it work, not to mention their skill sets. i would love to see the
two qb system, given we do not run the system in an entirly predicatble manner (as best as you can with these two guys).

Burns only because I believe he has the ability to be the total package. If he can become an efficient passer, he'll be a nightmare to defenses. That being
said I think it'll be both simply due to the fast paced nature of the spread and grind of the SEC.

I agree w/ the beavers. Old school of thought was that "if you have TWO
quarterbacks ,you have NONE." But with the success of dual QB systems around the country in the last few years I've warmed up to the idea. A few pros and cons: 1)Defenses & D. Coordinators have to prepare for two styles of offense. 2)Offense can easily "change gears." (change of pace) 3)No clear cut leader of the offense. 4) Different cadences or snap counts. I think we might be headed for a dual QB offense and I'm interested to see how it will play out. |

We need at least 2 QB's up to speed. With the option of our QB's running in this spread, we can't risk putting all our eggs in one basket.

Whom ever gives the Auburn Tigers the best chance to win should be the starter. Having dual QB's could be interesting because both don't have to play in every game. The AU coaching staff could plan two different gameplans for each QB. Opponent DC's would have a hard time planning because you won't know ahead of time if you are playing against Todd, Burns, or both! I'm just ready for some Auburn Football! |

no more 8-9 men in the box. If a team is good and physical but lacks the db's throw it 50 times. I.E. Tennessee
If a team struggles with the run and cant tackle very well run it 50 times I.E. Ole Miss Options and stuff |
