I'd just like to say for me personally, winning the SEC means more than winning a national championship. Sure winning one would be great, but winning the
conference title will always make me slightly happier. Still don't know why.

I understand what you mean since an sec championship is actually settled on the field, but we're not going to even have a chance at a mnc without a
conference championship (just look at Georgia last year). So a national championship would be something to get even more exciited about.

Except UGA didn't even win the SEC.. The key is to win the SEC, like Tuberville has always said. Beyond that it is a popularity contest. Luckily Florida
& LSU have proven that the SEC champion deserves to play for the NC.

The only bad thing about being picked to win the west is that it kind of come with a bulls eye. Have to show up every game!

I think the whole point of it being decided on the field has a lot to do with it, but I think the biggest thing for me is because our conference is so tough,
going through an entire season of beating the best of the best in your conference and winning the SEC is more of an accomplishment to me than beating a good
team from a bad conference in a National Championship game.
