Definitely in my top 3 of favorite sporting events. There's something so graceful and beautiful about running horses. Watch it if you get the chance. It
really is a sight to behold.

I have never been a horse racing fan but going to vet school with 35 classmates from Kentucky changed my perception quite a bit. they would have all day
parties the day of the Derby and get together at someone's place and have 15 tv's attuned to it and then in like 5 minutes the race is over and the
drinking resumes. It is interesting and it is a huge spectacle with lots of buildup and hype for something that is so brief ( like a lot of people's sex
life)!!!

wow. they had to euthanize the 2nd place horse on the track after the race when she fell and broke both front ankles....that has to suck if you're the
horse owner.
