Sorry if this info has been posted already. Anyway, I picked up a copy of " Sporting News - College Football '08 " and just want to question why
I would waste hard earned money on such a piece of trash magazine. Preseason ranking for Auburn is #16 - " Tigers will be terrific on defense, but their
new spread offense will take time to develop ". I must disagree. The Chick-fil-A bowl showed glimpses of the magic, but the A Day game showed some real
promise for the future of the Auburn Tigers! In the SEC section of the magazine Auburn is ranked #2 in the SEC West. Right behind LSU. What a crock of BS !!!
The magazine gives a prediction of what bowl game Auburn will play in - the Chick -fil-A bowl, AGAIN !!! Do not buy this stupid magazine - you have been
warned. And as always - WAR EAGLE !!!

To be fair, we are going into the season with a pair of brand-new coordinators and a couple of new starting QBs.

To be honest, in my opinion thats not too far unaccurate. I mean, Auburn has talent, but they still are young. You can't expect them to be ranked #1 right
off the bat.

I don't think Auburn is deserving of a preseason #1 ranking till they prove they deserve it. That being said, the Sporting News rankings of 1 through 15
are:
#1 Georgia #2 OSU #3 USC #4 Oklahoma #5 LSU #6 Missouri #7 Clemson #8 WVU #9 Florida #10 Illinois #11 Texas #12 Kansas #13 VT #14 Wisconsin #15 Oregon I just believe that Auburn deserves to be ranked higher because a few teams in the top 15 are ranked a little high, like Clemson !!! |

We have to earn that respect. And to do that we need to quit losing to teams like USF and Miss State. Especially at home. On paper we look great. We have to

Anyone who has LSU in front of us is a freaking joke. We have two QB's battling for a position, LSU doesnt even have a QB. Our defense is better, Our
offense is better, our coaching is better, we are better. And we'll prove it when they come to the Plains, where they are incapable of winning anyway.

I definitely think we are a better team than LSU, but as always, their defense is AMAZING. But so is ours, so I can't wait for that game. But I am glad we
are not ranked in the top 5 b/c it seems that whenever we are ranked high, we always suck. But then when we are ranked too low, we go undefeated and get
shafted in the NC game. Soo, my point is that I LOVE AUBURN FOOTBALL AND I CAN"T WAIT FOR THE SEASON TO START!!!!!!!!!!
