Yuku free message boards

As many will remember, this board was split in two a couple of years ago. This was done surreptitiously in the dead of night so that, in my opinion, one particular moderator could have his own "page." And I commend DLT for not following the same path, but bringing the subject up so the entire forum can express their views. I would also add that as a result of this aforementioned division, the recruiting page has given rise to the insightful and popular postings of ToW... and others, which is in no way to be confused with the mindless drivel I, myself, post here in the Tiger Cage.

This subject was broached by auburnfootball some months ago. I was opposed to the idea at the time, but have since reconsidered (flip-flopped).

It is very disconcerting and tiring to have to move the cursor over a specific thread to gain an understanding as to its content; as opposed to actually clicking on the thread. After all, it's not like we can see who the poster is and thereby have a reasonable expectation of what his or her opinion will likely be. I'm all for any measure that will allow me easier access to only those postings I'm interested in before I actually read them. And, of course, with this new format the "ignore" option is insufficient.

I would suggest, then, that all political threads remain here, in the Tiger Cage, while other more important topics and pertinent issues of conversation be relegated to yet another separate page. Or, better yet, maybe we can each have our own individual pages?
