t sounds like the coaches were pretty impressed with the offense. It has certainly been awhile since I've heard Tubberville speak with that much positivity
about the quarterback. And How many times did Franklin say National championship?
Anyone else notice, that when Franklin was talking about who would start, the scenarios always had either Burns starting, or both playing. Sounds like Franklin might not be opposed to a two quarterback system if the dynamics set up in a way where Todd might be slightly better at passing but Burns is throwing well and running better. |

Kodi Burns is progressing very well but the Todd kid can throw the fade about as good...

as any QB I have seen at Auburn in a while. I can understand the controversy. Neil Caudle doesn't have the proper footwork. Deron Furr will be a stud at
Auburn. RED SHIRT!!! His passes were way off but to me he is a taller bigger stronger Pat White. There was 1 roll out pass that he scrambled on and got touched
down that if the play was live he would have split the defense and took it to the house. Slaughter was solid at WR as was Swinton and Dunn (he still quit on
the team so I am reserved about him). When the speedsters Adams and PPL get to Auburn this fall if one can step up and give Auburn the explosive home run
threat I think the sky is the limit. Its not hard to score 30 when the defense is in a base 4-3 front and playing Tampa two alternating in and out with man to
man. Bynes needs to play a lot. Depth on defense is not much of a concern except on the DL esp at DT. It seemed to me that our OL is our biggest strength. JMO

bullhubbs your right about everything in my opinion, but only question is about Dunn quitting on the team?? I don't know if your talking about something
specific, or if you are mistaken and talking about him missing a lot of practice recently. If that's the reason, its not because he quit on the team. He
had a class scheduling error and as a STUDENT ATHLETE, had to go to class over practice. If anything, this shows that he cared enough about the team and
himself to remain academically eligible by going to class...remember Lester being suspended...I don't know if it was ever released, but it was because he
skipped the first 2 weeks of class of fall semester. Dunn in that case didn't do anything wrong.

I believe he was the one who got into an arguement with coaches last year and was kept from traveling for a game. Or was that someone else?

Sounded like pretty good news to me.

Dunn walked off the field last season in practice leading up to the LSU game (I believe)...
|
To me that's quitting. He was left at home for the LSU game.

Ok...I think your right. And I don't know Dunn personally, but from my friends on the team he actually is a trouble maker and isn't liked by a lot of
the team. Im pretty sure Brad Lester is one of his best friends though. Dunn is a great player, but needs to grow up. He almost caused a huge fight between
some of the football team and one of the black fraternities.
Y'all like my flip-flop on my Dunn opinion within a few hours haha |
