The last thing I remember was him getting arrested for drug possession. Haven't heard from him since.

Chris Porter went pro and then went off in a puff of smoke. After his brief stint in the NBA, he has since bounced around from different basketball leagues, winning a championship with one team a few years ago. Currently he is playing for the Chinese Basketball Association with the Fujian Sturgeons, who selected him 2nd in the 2nd round of the 2005 draft. The following year and this past year, the Sturgeons used their first round draft pick to re-sign him. He was also a member of the 2007 CBA all-star team. |

He played for the Golden State Warriors some time after he left Auburn, but it didn't last long.
