Little different this week. I edited out the older incident reports so it's a bit less lengthy. What I did keep though, along with the current reports, are
the ones involving coalition warships and the new measure introduced by us and France to be given the authority to do something about this. I'll
be opening a pool on who will oppose the idea besides those enlightened souls on the UN's Human Rights Commission.

Ok, on with the YARR!!

Funny the LCS program has been a nightmare since they build them down here around Mobile. I think Austal does it but I am not sure. They are in hot water over
the Hawaiin super ferry they built and the greenies would not let them use because it banged a dolphin on the head.

Three carriers for combat ops. The LCS (Littoral Combat Ship) program has been a frackin nightmare. Knowing the reasons (and that most of them are valid)
doesn't help the grumbling about it. Yes, it is revolutionary and all but still, yikes. They are, however, going to be key to the Maritime Security

Littoral ships are the wave of the future and down here that is all they talk about . I cant imagine those ships projecting the force a carrier does and it
will probably take 50 of them to match the firepower of one carrier but there is much buzz about them. With carriers having to be in port and our interest
being spread all over the world it probably takes 12 to do the job. It probably takes three for the Persian Gulf area alone.
