What are some simple ways to keep my dogs breathe freshened, other than a cleaning by the Vet?

I just bought something to put in her water bowl. I've tried greenies(not sure of spelling), and different types of dog treats.

She is about 2 1/2, and we feed her science diet, Lamb and rice, before that it was just science diet original. She doesn't like the toothbrush, and I know
it will be impossible to actually try and teach her to like it.

I appreciate the advice, and I guess I will stick to the stuff I put in the water.

the stuff you put in the water is the easiest. YOU can try rawhides and if her teeth are not in need of a cleaning and she has foul breath you may need to
change dog foods. WIth a young puppy you can brush their teeth and it will help but it is hard to train a grown dog for that. I dont brush my own dog's
teeth but she does not have bad breath.
