When Blackmon heads off to the NFL (which may very well in the next year's draft; I don't think he will hang around for a senior year if he has an injury and suspension free season), I thought Josh Bynes was the next Mike Linebacker?

Seems Bynes had a GREAT spring.

Fairley redshirted last year and will play this year. So he will have 3 to play 3.

Just thought I'd clarify here that EF is redshirting while at juco, not at AU. This is a great idea...

Yes he will redshirt 2008 season.. then he'll be at Auburn for the 2009 season.

So I'm assuming he'll be redshirting in Mississippi this year and not at AU, correct? He won't be on campus for the 08-09 year will he?

sounds like a win - win to me... the second coming of blackmon draws near. a year off gets him freah and very hungry. also, alot of time for tutoring and game film. sounds like the kid has a good head on his shoulders. i cant wait, but i gladly will if he is as destructive as i think he can be.

and we are supposed to be a program on the slide... yeah frikkin right!

That is indeed fact. Eltoro will redshirt this year and arrive on the plains with 3 years of eligibility remaining. His academics are fine and this kid is a true Auburn Tiger.
