It was touched on in the recruiting thread but a lot of recruits are turned off by bama tactics including Nico even though he is still a bama lean.

I will try to answer your question, though I'm certainly not an insider. Many of Saban's prized recruits resent the pressure that is being applied right now by UA. I have spoken with some of them (no I won't name them), and they have found Saban and staff to be pushy and arrogant. "um, no" is rude to say to someone that is a fellow Auburn fan. Here's why there is a lot of optimism. We'll have one of the best offensive lines in the nation. We have a solid running game behind it. Cody Burns at quarterback got some play last year, and has been under study for a bit longer. The schedule sets up to allow him to get a lot of snaps before the real meat of the schedule kick ins. Kicking game will also be solid. Tony Franklins offense ran up 30 plus pts on Georgia by the way when Troy played them with a lot less...
