What I guess you don't understand, is that Bama hasn't had bad classes in recent years, so if you think that a #1 recruiting class is gonna give you wins, then you need to think again, just ask Notre Dame and Tennessee.

Hate, that's a pretty strong word to be used for something as trivial as sports. Here's the truth of the matter.
1. Both are outstanding universities.
2. Both have classy fans, some of whom are alumni some of whom aren't.
3. Both have some redneck hick fans who are an embarrassment. I am a life long auburn fan. In 1971 I went to the Auburn-Ky. game down on the plains. After the game, leaving the stadium. Some drunk fan in orange and blue turned around and said...

Haha silvercharged you are being one of the people that we are making fun of on this topic. And what you are saying tider4ever is what I was saying. I agree that most Bama students and graduates as well as Auburn's are fine. Its mainly the people that are just fans that embarrass each school.

We're all accustomed to it, not saying it's a good thing but we are. How does everyone feel about the ones who say "we should support both teams from our state" or that we shouldn't hate each other like we do? Personally, and even though I'm 23, I'm part of the old school hatred crowd. You won't see me with that tag on my car that has both teams' logos, and I love nothing more than living here in Illinois and seeing someone with a big A on their crimson...
