I remember asking coach Dye why we don't don't recruit /sign guys Texas. He said "since we get a lot of players in our state plus dipping into Fla & Ga every year, he saw no need to go outside the deep south. Nothing against coach Dye but, I'm glad to see we're getting both our feet in the Texas doorway.

Not only do I like that idea, but I love that we are finally going into Texas. Hey, it's the only fair thing to do. Texas buys another AU coordinator and now we're offerring their own players. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

I was about to say the same thing... LSU recruits hard in Texas, year in and year out. I am glad we are finally looking west....

Maybe we can start recruiting nationwide now.... I would love to get some Yankees to visit the South... they would stay after
catching a glimpse of the co-eds down here...

Wouldn't most kids rather play at AU than at Baylor or SMU or TCU? I would think so.

Yesterday, I saw that we offered an ATH from Texas. I don't know his name though. It would be great to get some big bulls out of Texas. Move over Muschamp because we're coming after your recruits.

Not real sure about CPR, but CTF will probably recruit nationwide because of his ties to high school coaches across the nation. With so many high school players playing under the Tony Franklin offensive system, blue chippers will WANT to play at Auburn. I'm sure we will see players signing with AU from a lot of different places.

I have noticed that we are recruiting a lot of guys from Texas. Is this because of ties that Franklin has or Rhoads or both. I noticed we offered an OL from Texas today. WDE!
