LSU's ranking is stupid

I know, they have two losses. Let's think about this. They lost to the 2 of the top 3 teams in fairly close games. The teams ahead of them in the Coaches Poll include Ga Tech (9-1), Ohio State (8-2), Pittsburgh (8-1), and USC (7-2). In the AP they include Pittsburgh and Ga Tech. I haven't even mentioned the undefeated teams that I think LSU would kill. This team should be no lower than the top 5 in my opinion. As always they will end up crushing somebody in a non-BCS bowl that is...

Interesting Stat

I did some simple math for fun this morning. After 10 games we are averaging scoring 35pts a game. We're giving up an average of 27 pts per game. The subs didn't help our average on defense when ya consider the points they gave up against Ball State and Furman. Overall though, not as bad as I thought. War Eagle!

Anyone know when the replay will be broadcast?

There is nothing I hate more than when fans whom don't get to play one down blame the officials on a loss, much less claim every week that the officials are cheating!! This is about as lame as any SEC fan who claims that AU did not deserve a shot at the NC in 2004! So I ask that you read this post with an open mind and I am very interested in seeing the responses.

After 10 weeks of college football a couple things are pretty evident.

According to ESPN, Auburn is ranked 25 in the coaches poll. Didn't quite make it in the AP Poll. Can we stay ranked from here on out and into next season?

I dont know about you guys but looking at this game going to Athens, I think it may be our most important game of the season. For a few reasons..

1. We are coming off a couple of good performances after losing three in a row and looking bad. We had somewhat got the ship back upright and things are clicking. I think Georgia is down right now. Lots of rumors about coaching changes going around here in Ga. I think we all know how that feels... A total beat down by Auburn may just...

The most dangerous man in the stadium these days is not the speedy WR with the great hands, the power RB whose time in the 40 is sub 4.4, or the absurdly accurate QB with the rocket arm. Nope, it is the replay official. He is the one person who can decide the likely outcome of a game with a single reversal of a call on the field or, as is becoming more and more prevalent, refusing to overturn a play called on the field.

Think about it LSU has a chance to WIN the WEST and play in the SEC championship and have a chance to Play for the national championship. NOT NOW. Bama won its over but that one call that was plain to see was not overturned. Maybe LSU does nothing with it but they would have had a chance. Instead though the REFS help decide the game.

Something needs to be done about the REFs and Slive, I do not know what can be done though. That one call may have cost LSU another championship

Which crew is this? Every time I see a game with Florida or bammer - it seems like the refs are protecting them - and it is this same crew.

our depth on D. We obviously played more players than usual, but 31 points to FURMAN!!!!! is pathetic. I just hope that playing the extra players helped rest the starters and gave some guys some neede live reps. That being said, WOW we are AWFUL on D. Worst I have ever seen at Auburn. How do we ever expect to play with the big boys. I hope we can outscore GA and Bama. Heres hoping
